Wally Plush Toys is a company from Mauritius which makes marvellous handmade plus toys. There is no doubt that my favourite toys on the site are those adorable Plush Dodos. Aren’t they great? I’m in love for them. Now I just need to discover what I have to do, to they come visit me one day.

PCAGOE Sept. Challenge – Pickwick created by Amy. I decided to take my inspiration from Jasper Fforde’s Thursday Next series. Pickwick is the cloned pet dodo of the main character, Thursday. Pickwick is pretty dense, has no wings, and loves marshmallows.

The adorable crochet Dodo on the pictures dodo1 and dodo2 was made by joyouscrocostimpy. Meat our previous crochet dodos: Dodo Crochet and Mauritius Dodo Crochet.

Rodney the Dodo, also known as Rodney-Roland Gordita Shantavious Nuddy-Pants Dodo McPherson. Katie Stoltze made this little dude out of sculpey.

There are no more dodos or puppet dodo birds at Extinct Animal Puppets. It costed $29.00, but Sadly, the Dodo puppet is now extinct (again!) Discontinued by the manufacturer as of October 2004. Sigh!

This hand puppet is 17 inches tall and has a movable beak. Does it look like Pickwick to you? More complete than earlier cloned versions, this one has TWO wings and a full complement of very soft, feather-like plush. Plock! Plock!

BTW, I’m searching for plush dodos, if anyone knows where I can buy one please let me know. Thanks!

DoDo Bird by Jim’s Critters and Creations, Tamera Rae Creations. Just abstract and it will be a dodo.

This DoDo Bird appeared in my garage one night while I was kicking back & having some fun.
Having been thought extinct, it was a definite surprise.
He may be the only one left but who knows ? There may be a mate some where.
